Chair presents at Cultural Property Protection: An enabler for cooperation, Nicosia

Organised by the Eratosthenes Centre of Excellence, Cyprus.

The full title of the event was Cultural Property Protection: An enabler for cooperation in Europe, the Mediterranean and the Gulf region and it was held under the auspices of the Cypriot Presidency to the EU. Yates' presentation, given on 21 April 2026, was entitled Cultural Heritage and Emerging Crime: Developing a Future-Focused Model of Threat and Harm.

While in Cyprus we were excited to see the new anti-antiquities crime banners in the Larnaca Airport.
